Galantines day party!

We ate. We drank. We crafted!

Creating the table setting was one of my favorite parts of this night. I started by laying the gold glitter plastic runner through the table. This came in handy when a drink was spilled. Then I placed the plastic heart placemats down. Next I put down the white Crate and Barrel plates. Since we were doing embroidery, I knew I wanted to incorporate the embroidery hoops in the place settings so I laid them directly on the plates. I rolled the socks to look like flowers to place in the center of the embroidery hoops. I put out the craft supplies by placing the fabric and tissue paper in center of the table. For smaller supplies I used little dishes to hold them throughout the table.

I served a cheese tray, taco seasoning dip, spinach dip, chips, chocolate covered strawberries, French macaroons, donuts, homemade Mac and cheese, and raspberry pressco punch!

The dips were bought from target. The donuts were bought from a grocery store (my husband picked them up on his way home).

The French macaroons and chocolate covered strawberries were homemade! I will post a how to make French macaroons closer to Easter!

For the punch, I used a bottle of La Marca, 1 cup of raspberry vodka, and 1 container of frozen pink lemonade. I also added raspberries to my ice cubes and to the punch.

For crafts we learned how to create paper flowers and embroidery with the guidance from Bluprint.
